The company that builds others builds itself. Linaco Specialty Industries Sdn Bhd (LSI), formerly known as Yuen Chun Industries Sdn Bhd is the oldest sauces brand and manufacturer in Malaysia since 1910.

Founded in 1890 by Lee Nam who migrated to Malaya from Heshan village in Guangdong province China, Yuen Chun was established 20 years later in year 1910, making it the oldest sauce manufacturer in Malaysia.

Adopting the soaring crane on its logo as a tribute to Lee’s family ancestral town of Heshan, meaning Crane Hill, the meaning of Yuen Chun is linked to the qualities of being “Original and Special”.

Interestingly, it is the first company to produce light soy sauce in clay jars in Malaysia utilising a traditional brewing method from Guangdong in China.

The founder of Linaco partnered Yuen Chun’s Lee fourth generation with the mission to grow and expand its business operations in 2019. With this, the company name was changed to Linaco Specialty Industries Sdn Bhd in 2021. This was done with the aim of expanding its business more into different segments of the various markets.

LSI is still practicing the traditional brewing method with modern technology, using only the finest natural ingredients. Its sauces can be formulated according to the taste profile required which will find acceptance by the respective markets.

Quality sauces with minimum 6-12 months natural fermentation, organic, vegan and gluten free range are key to the company’s stringent quality standards.
